Yes — Palate is free to download and use. Scan wine lists and get recommendations at no cost.
Does it work at any restaurant?
Palate reads most printed wine lists from a photo. Selected New York restaurants are also preloaded with their wine list and menu, so you can tap your dishes and get recommendations instantly — that list is growing.
How does Palate know what I'll like?
A short one-time quiz builds your palate profile — the styles you gravitate toward and what you avoid. Every recommendation is scored against that, and against what you're eating. You can also set a price range on any result.
Is my data private?
Your palate profile and history are yours. We don't sell personal data.
Is Palate available on Android?
Palate is currently iPhone-only. Android is on the roadmap.
